Daily maintenance of full-range speakers mainly includes the following aspects:
Cleaning and maintenance:
Cabinet cleaning: The surface of the full-range speaker can be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth to remove dust and stains. For cabinets made of glossy paint, plastic, metal and solid wood, special care should be taken to maintain them and avoid using chemical cleaners or irritating liquids such as alcohol.
Grille cleaning: The grille easily absorbs dust and pet hair, so it is recommended to clean it regularly. You can use a soft cloth to gently wipe the surface of the grille to maintain its sound-transmitting effect.
Moisture-proof and dust-proof:
Keep dry: The full-range speaker should be placed in a well-ventilated and dry place to avoid a humid environment. If water mist is found inside the speaker, it should be dried immediately and checked for damaged electronic components.
Dust prevention measures: Regularly clean the dust around the speaker to prevent dust from entering the speaker and affecting the sound quality and equipment life.
Temperature control:
Suitable temperature: Full-range speakers should be placed in an environment with suitable temperature, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources. Generally speaking, the temperature control between 18℃-28℃ is the best.
Avoid extreme temperatures: Avoid using speakers at too high or too low temperatures to prevent damage to the sound system.
Correct use and operation:
Standard operation: When turning on the machine, the audio source device should be turned on first, then the processing device, and finally the power amplifier and speakers; when turning off the machine, the opposite is true, first turn off the power amplifier and speakers, then turn off the processing device, and finally turn off the audio source device. This can avoid damage to the equipment caused by the instantaneous current shock of turning on and off.
Avoid frequent switching on and off: Frequent switching on and off will cause damage to electronic components, so frequent operation should be avoided as much as possible.
